Information we collect
This website collects only the information you choose to provide — for example, when you contact the Society by email. We also use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It records the page visited, the referring site, and general device and country information; it sets no cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not identify individual visitors. We use these anonymous statistics only to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
Registration, dues, and member accounts
Meeting registration, membership dues, and member accounts are handled through the Society’s member-management platform (MemberClicks) on its own secure pages. Information you submit there — including payment details — is processed under that platform’s privacy and security practices, and payment card information never passes through this website.
Abstract submissions
If you submit an abstract through this website, your contact and travel details and your files go to the Society’s Executive Director, its meeting planner and the program reviewers, stored in a shared Google Drive and a Google Sheet that the meeting planner manages for the Society. They are used only to review abstracts and plan the meeting program, and are kept for one year after the meeting. The submission form is protected by Vercel BotID, a bot check from our hosting provider that runs only on that form.
How we use information
Information you provide is used solely to conduct Society business: responding to inquiries, administering membership, and organizing Society meetings and events. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.
Third-party links
This site links to outside services — such as the member portal, hotel reservation pages, and abstract-submission forms. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
Photographs and video
Photographs and video on this site come from the Society’s meetings. If you appear in one and would prefer not to, email the Executive Director at deci.nwsps@gmail.com and it will be removed from the site.
